GeoSplit participated in the Xth Oil and Gas Forum in Tyumen

Within September 17-19, the Xth Oil and Gas Forum was held in Tyumen. It is one of the major and largest events in the oil and gas industry, in 2019 the scale of the forum reached over 3200 participants from 22 countries and 34 regions of Russia. 30 business events were held during 3 days of the forum.

Geosplit representatives took an active part in the business program and acted as speakers at various sessions of the forum.

On September 18, 2019, a round table "Technological development as a mechanism for solving industrial objectives on the example of the Bazhenov formation development " was held. Experts discussed the tasks of the Palyanovskoye field as the platform for creating a cost-effective technology aimed at the development of the Bazhenov formation, considered a digital platform as a tool for establishing an effective system of partner interaction, proposed modern technologies for horizontal wells as a digitalization tool for oil and gas fields.

Igor Novikov, Business Development Manager, GeoSplit LLC, reported about an innovative approach to monitoring oil and gas fields development. The technology GEOSPLIT allows to obtain bottomhole data through horizontal well production logging technology using markers.

On September 19, 2019, the plenary session “Digital Transformation of Oil and Gas Industry: Infrastructure, Technological and Management Barriers” was held. Experts discussed technological challenges and achievements of oil and gas companies, the best digitalization practices, and information security issues in oil and gas industry. In his report Kirill Ovchinnikov, the Chief Technical Officer, GeoSplit LLC, shared the company’s experience of increasing field development efficiency using Big Data technologies.

At the conference “Geology and Geophysics. The state and use of hydrocarbon deposits in Western Siberia. Implementation of innovative technologies”, the speakers discussed current trends in geological exploration and development of Western Siberian reserves, evaluated the results and efficiency of oil and gas geological exploration in Western Siberia, considered innovative technologies to improve geological operations and development of Western Siberian oil and gas deposits.

In his report Vasily Kiselev, Deputy General Director for Geology and New Technologies, GeoSplit LLC, presented the peculiarities of marker monitoring technologies, which are an effective alternative method for horizontal well production logging allowing to obtain qualitative and quantitative data on well intervals operation continuously without performing downhole operations. Vasily highlighted that the technology GEOSPLIT can be successfully implemented both in new horizontal wells with MFrac completion and in the existing well fund.
