A technological conference "Import Substitution in the Oil and Gas Industry 2019" was held in St. Petersburg. General Director Alexander Katashov presented the export potential of GeoSplit technology and shared successful experience in launching a well inflows profiles research program at Datsinskoye field in China.
“We are solving not only the problem of import substitution, but producing an import-forward technology for the digitalization of deposits, and we’re planning to develop high-tech Russian exports,” reported Alexander. The company “GeoSplit” is actively developing its own portfolio of solutions for marker diagnostics of wells and offers oil producing companies products and services that are ahead of imported analogues. Entering international markets is not a tactical option, but a strategic necessity for high-tech innovative companies. The first case of using Russian innovation in Chinese oilfield market, where the most advanced western technologies are implemented, is a vivid example of the fact that Russian oilfield service industry has successful experience of eliminating the technological gap. In 2019, pilot projects with oil companies in the Middle East are planned. In general, the export program geography of the company “GeoSplit” encompasses 20 countries.
